This Site is setup for people interested in monitoring live data from there Sunny WebBox purchased from SMA*.
There are currently three applications that work with data from the webbox. The applications take into account the monitoring of single and multiple plants that are connected to the Sunny WebBox.
The first is a program that would replace Flashview from SMA*.
It will give live data and more importantly it will give you data for the entire day or past days that are stored on the webbox, not just when the program was started.
This has been tested to work with multiple plants.
The next two program are for users that want to create their own local website on their lan and store the data locally.
The SunnyWatcherRPC program will store live data in a CSV file or MySql database at the users selected interval on the computer that is running the software. This program also allows you to view the data in a datagrid or graphically see the current Power for the overall system as well as the individual plants connected to the WebBox.
SunnyWatcherPush works with the ftp push data transfer option in the 1.45 webbox version. This application will take the webbox push data which is zip files inside zip files that contain xml data
and allow the user to save it in four options. XML, CSV, SQLITE and to a MySql database.
This program also writes messages to a screen when a plant is not MPP so you can monitor plants that are not producing.
*** I've spent some time as I've sold copies to users in Germany. I had to make provisions in the code for the push program to take into account SMA* using german text for some of the variables that are tracked.
SunnyWatcherPush was also modified so it writes messages to a screen when a plant is not MPP so you can monitor plants that are not producing. This was added as one client had to monitor 700 inverters using 25 webboxes!!! It was important that they could easily track down plants that were not producing.
